COMPANY OVERVIEW

Plan Companies, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is a unique investment firm focusing on real estate. Our family of companies utilize a multi-strategy approach, divided into three broadly defined and distinct divisions. The strategies include fix and flip, buy and hold, and build to sell or hold. We have extensive experience with an array of high-quality renovation and new-construction properties including vintage single family homes, luxury condos, as well as starter homes. The buy and hold component of our business owns and manages numerous residential rental units in Chicago, ranging from single family homes to small and medium sized apartment complexes. Additionally, we own and manage several commercial medical office buildings.

By using a multi-strategy allocation, we are able to opportunistically combine mixed-duration assets of varying risk profiles to mitigate our portfolio volatility, and therefore downside risk. We understand the true value of real estate as a long-term asset, and how to enhance it for our strategic partners and investors alike. We use proprietary technology and process flows to systematically analyze and manage our investments. The optionality to deploy our capital as opportunities arise keeps our company flexible in an increasingly dynamic market environment. In addition to Chicago, we currently diversify and have exposure to several other well researched regional markets.

Pierre Alfred, M.D.

Founder and CEO

Dr. Alfred oversees the vision of Plan Companies and focuses on mentoring the officers in order to grow the company, strengthen it, and ensure its sustainability. He represents Plan Companies in meetings with strategic partners as well as through attendance at important functions and industry events. He works with the team to prepare annual budgets, complete risk analysis on potential investments, and strategically directs decisions regarding investment risk and return. Further, he oversees quality control throughout the company, establishing goals for business systems development. Prior to creating Plan Companies, Dr. Alfred developed his business, real estate and entrepreneurial acumen by growing a small medical practice into a very large multisite and multifaceted entity. He received an M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco and a B.S. from University of California, Berkeley.

Nicole Alfred-Napper, Esq.

Chief Operating Officer
Licensed Real Estate Broker

Nicole is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois and provides oversight for all business and legal operations of Plan Companies. Additionally, she directly manages all new development projects for sale as well as redevelopment projects held in the rental portfolio. Her other responsibilities include portfolio acquisitions management, business compliance, and serving as the company’s in-house counsel. During her tenure as chief operating officer, she has overseen significant portfolio growth and has personally handled hundreds of transactions. She has an extensive breadth of experience in diverse asset classes ranging from single family home developments to larger multifamily rehabs and multi-unit condominium developments.

Prior to joining Plan Companies, Nicole spent five years working as an administrative lawyer for a federal agency in Washington D.C. She holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, and a B.S. in Resource Economics from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois (active), District of Columbia, and Massachusetts.

Ajia Alfred

Director of Redevelopment
Licensed Real Estate Broker

Ajia is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois and she directly manages all lending activities for Plan Companies investment partnerships and coordinates financing for redevelopment operations. She directly manages strategic partners, provides quality assurance, and maintains relationships with Plan Companies’ outsourced developers. Her other responsibilities include management of investor relations and recruitment and development of new market strategies and partnerships. During her tenure as director of redevelopment, the company has completed numerous transactions in a diverse group of carefully researched markets.

Prior to joining Plan Companies, Ajia completed her M.S.W. from New York University, and also holds a B.A. in Communication from The University of Maryland at College Park.
